The story of Idropi begins in 1962 during the great economic expansion in the 60's. Idropi is located in S.G. Lupatoto (VR)
just a few kilometers from Verona.
The Italian families discover for the first time the welfare and buy the first electrical appliances. The Water heater
became soon an essential technological appliance in the every day life. Since the beginning there are no doubts: to be
updated with the evolution of the market means to concentrate in the factory the most part of the number of the working
proceedings. This, together with a research laboratory, allows to test immediately all the possible improvements on the
products.
Nowadays, Idropi buys from other companies only the specilized components. All the production process, enamelling process
included, are realized inside Idropi with a production integrated cycle. In order to guarantee the long duration of the water
heater, we adopt the most tested production processes. All our models are protected against corrosion of inner surface of
the tank according to the Bayer glasslining process at 860 °C and according to the methods of the quality tradition of
Idropi. The total safety of our products is given by the detailled check programm of the working proceedings. Every water
heater is submitted to two pressure tests which verify the perfect watertight of the tank: they are tested at the end of
the welding procedure and once all the components have been installed. After these pressure tests, all the products are
proved to assure that they are produced according to the safety procedures. Idropi’s products are distributed all over the
world: therefore particularly attention is given to the packages which are produced with special protection devices.

Idropi has obtained the Certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001 on 1st August 1997.
A Certified Quality System shows our ambition to assure the high quality of the product in the entire production system,
starting from our suppliers till our products are distributed to the clients.
